The KAYC is the place to be for a nice dinner in RP. White tablecloth dining with the best old school yacht club vibes. We recommend for lunch the cheeseburger salad or a BLT. Dining for dinner, this THE best place to wear your new dress from LC for the best martini in town and catch of the day. Don’t pass up on the Caesar before your entree and always end with their famous Gold Brick for dessert. Must be a member to dine (but we bet you know one!) They also accept reciprocals. Italian Cowboy

This sweet speciality food + wine market is a must stop on your way to the coast to load up on all the grown up essentials needed for a nice time. Italian Cowboy has over 300 hand selected Italian wines, along with Italian, European and artisanal domestic cheeses, antipasta, pantry provisions and more. It is a true mom and pop with owners Lowell and Diedre running the show. Highly recommend finding them on YouTube! $$-$$$

Flower's Shrimp Market

A shrimp market named Flower’s... need we say more? Its precious little building located behind Water St. is family run with their own shrimp boats, you can’t find fresher or bigger shrimp than Flower’s. We recommend getting there before the Sunday crowd wipes out their jumbos! Pro tip: order their freshly made egg rolls. $

Medley Texas Boards

A perfect addition to your boat ride or girls night in, Medley provides beautiful and personalized charcuterie boards. To order, visit her Instagram and send her a DM. Pickups are located at Tackle Town, so local we love it. $$

Cheryl's By The Bay

Another Fulton favorite among locals and tourists alike, Cheryl’s provides a fun tiki atmosphere and serves up a refined new American menu, including local seafood and vegetarian options. It’s our favorite spot to bring your own fish and let them do their thing. Open for Sunday brunch & dinner Wednesday - Saturday. $$$-$$$$

Specializing in locally sourced fresh seafood, Latitude has come to be known as a culinary gem and favorite watering hole among the locals. Trust us, their fresh bread is worth the carbs. 495 Chesapeake Eats

If crab dip is on your brain, this is THE place. Specializing in wood fired seafood, steaks and craft cocktails, 495 Chesapeake Eats provides a unique dining experience. Located in downtown Rockport, 495 uses the freshest available ingredients for all of their menu items and cocktails, including local fresh fish and shrimp, fresh blue crab, and Texas wagyu beef. Some of our favorite dishes include their Maryland style fried chicken, the previously mentioned crab dip, and their chicken piccata with crab meat- YUM! Open for dinner only, we recommend making a reservation on the weekend. $$$

Boiling Pot

A laid back restaurant located in Fulton, Boiling Pot serves up heaps of Cajun-spiced, boiled seafood in a relaxed low-country atmosphere. Open for lunch Friday-Sunday and dinner every night. Put your bib on, grab a beer, and enjoy! $$-$$$

The Groove Steak & Lobster House

Our idea of the perfect date night would be one of their wood fired pizzas, a good bottle of wine and live music. We love that the entire family works together creating such a fun and friendly atmosphere. Many of the herbs, fruit and vegetables that they use are grown right out back in The Groove Gardens, a patio open to their customers! Open for dinner only. $$-$$$

Our favorite down-home establishment featuring traditional American breakfast and lunch dishes, this is our go-to Saturday morning diner. Expect a wait before noon, but we promise it’s worth it for their migas with queso! Open for breakfast and lunch only. $
